The sudden and tragic death of Nigerian artist MohBad, born Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, has left a void in the hearts of his fans worldwide. MohBad, also known as Imole, was a talented rapper, singer, and songwriter who rose to fame with his unique blend of Afrobeats, Amapiano, Afropop, and Hip Hop. Born on January 3, 1996, in Lagos, Nigeria, MohBad's musical journey began in 2019 and was marked by numerous hits, including "Ponmo," "Peace," and "KPK (Ko Por Ke)."

On September 12, 2023, at the age of 27, MohBad's life was cut short after being treated for an infection by an unlicensed nurse, who was later arrested. Police subsequently announced they would investigate the circumstances of the singer's death after his body was exhumed on September 21, 2023. His passing sent shockwaves through the music community and beyond, with tributes pouring in from around the globe. In Antwerp, Belgium, DJ Abena organised a tribute to honour his memory and to offer his fans in Belgium a chance to say their goodbyes.

MohBad's music and spirit will forever be remembered. His debut album, "Light," released in 2020, and his posthumous chart-topping hits, including "Peace," have left an indelible mark on the music industry. Despite his short career, MohBad's legacy continues to grow, as his songs resonate with fans and his influence surpasses borders. Rest in peace, MohBad. You will always be remembered.
